Sundhara Hair Oil
Champi, carried across the water.
A hand-crafted champi oil on a bhringraj-infused base of moringa, jojoba, squalane and Jamaican black castor. It conditions, softens, seals in moisture, adds shine, and makes hair easier to detangle — the honest work of a good oil, and the ritual to use it well.
Cosmetic use only · For external use · Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Three steps. A few quiet minutes to yourself.
Warm
Stand the capped bottle in warm water a few minutes, water below the neck. It should test warm on your wrist, never hot. Never the microwave.
Scalp
Section it. Fingertips, slow circles, a few minutes. This part isn't a chore to rush — it's the point.
Rest
Smooth what's left down the lengths, ends last. Wrap it — thirty minutes minimum — then wash out.
Three more ways
Pre-wash
Lengths and ends only, twenty minutes before you shampoo.
Overnight
Scalp and lengths, wrapped. Wash out in the morning.
Wash-day seal
A little on damp lengths after washing. The one that stays in.
How much to use is a question of your hair, not a guess.
Soaking and sealing want very different amounts. Start here, then adjust.
| Your hair | Soaking | Sealing |
|---|---|---|
| Fine, or not much of it | 3–5 droppers · 3–5 ml. Off the roots, or it goes flat. | 1–2 drops |
| Medium | 5–10 droppers · 5–10 ml. Root to tip. | 2–3 drops |
| Coarse, or a lot of it | 10–15 droppers · 10–15 ml, in 4–6 sections. | 3–4 drops |
Pre-wash sits at the low end, overnight at the high. Then check porosity: float a shed strand in water for ten minutes — floats means low (warm oil, damp hair), sinks means high (damp hair, top of your range).

Full ingredient list (INCI)
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Coco-Caprylate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Squalane, Essential Oil Blend (Parfum), Tocopherol, Eclipta Prostrata (Bhringraj) Leaf Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Benzyl Benzoate.
Note: This is the representative formula for the current batch. The exact, final INCI — verified per batch — is printed on the ritual card that ships with each bottle. Coconut-derived ingredients appear here as Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and Coco-Caprylate; if you're coconut-sensitive, please read Good to Know.
The honest cautions — right here, not buried.
Patch test first
A drop behind the ear or inside the elbow. Wait 24 hours before fuller use.
Coconut-sensitive?
Coco-caprylate is coconut-derived too — it doesn't read that way on the list. Take care.
Dandruff-prone?
Lengths and edges, rinse within an hour or two, and skip the overnight. A flaking scalp doesn't want oil sitting on it.
External use only
Keep away from eyes. If it stings, rinse with cool water.
The scent will shift
No synthetic fragrance — batches vary and deepen over time. That's the formula working, not failing.
Pregnant or nursing?
This one carries rosemary and camphor. Check with your doctor first, as you would with any scalp treatment.
A note on claims. Sundhara is a cosmetic hair and scalp oil. It conditions, softens, seals in moisture, adds shine and eases detangling. It is not a treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition — including hair loss.
